The speech content covered key fields such as the interpretation of mandatory waterproofing standards, waterproofing technology for underground engineering, and life-cycle assessment of waterproofing materials. The waterproof mortar displayed by Maenam Hi-Tech uses non-metallic minerals instead of traditional chemical raw materials. It has advantages such as high impermeability grade, firm bonding with concrete substrates, and strong resistance to dry-wet cycles. Combining the experience of underground pipe corridor construction in South Korea, South Korean experts pointed out that the low shrinkage and freeze-thaw resistance of Maenam Hi-Tech's waterproof mortar can solve the problem of waterproof layer cracking caused by temperature changes and settlement of large-scale infrastructure foundations, which is in in-depth response to the "development direction of safe waterproofing technology for underground facilities in South Korea" proposed by President Xianggen Wu.
