   In fact, this marks the third time this month that Maenam High-Tech has appeared on a high-end international platform–having previously participated in Shenzhen's ‘Specialised, Refined, Distinctive and Innovative’ Empowerment Training and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's Future Technology Summit. The breakthrough outcomes of this Hong Kong mission stem from dual support: ‘government guidance coupled with platform empowerment’. The Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the Shaanxi Provincial Committee coordinated resources to establish a “bridge” connecting the enterprise to the international stage. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council leveraged its extensive experience in global markets to precisely match collaborative resources for the company. This synergistic approach has propelled Maenam High-Tech to accelerate its transition from ‘deep technological cultivation’towards ‘global expansion’.

The outstanding achievements of this summit would not have been possible without the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's comprehensive coordination and promotion. Statistics reveal that over the two-day programme, the forum facilitated the signing of 45 memoranda of cooperation, showcased over 300 high-quality investment projects, and meticulously organised more than 800 one-to-one project matchmaking sessions–setting a new record.

From infrastructure development to digital economy innovation, from green and low-carbon transformation to breakthroughs in health technology, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council leverages Hong Kong's unique strengths as a “super connector”and “super value-adder”through specialised thematic seminars and targeted government-enterprise matchmaking. This transforms the forum into a global “resource hub” for Belt and Road cooperation.

For Maenam High-Tech, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council's (HKTDC) bespoke services proved pivotal: during the preparatory phase, the HKTDC leveraged the company's core technologies in biomanufacturing and eco-friendly materials to pre-identify potential partners across Southeast Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, Africa, and Hong Kong itself. During the forum, with the joint facilitation of Director Zhang Xiaoli and the HKTDC team, Maenam High-Tech successfully established in-depth connections with local government bodies such as the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department, the Hong Kong Export Credit Insurance Corporation, and the Hong Kong Development Bureau, as well as central state-owned enterprises like China Railway and trade-related institutions from Pacific Island nations. During the core session of the forum, the sub-forum on ‘Innovative Technology and the Healthy Silk Road’, Dr Lu Wei, Chairman of Maenam High-Tech, delivered remarks that garnered significant attention. This speaking opportunity was both a targeted recommendation from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and received active support from Director Zhang Xiaoli, enabling the technological prowess and developmental philosophy of Chinese technology enterprises to reach the international stage.
