Following in-depth exchanges, the two parties reached a high degree of consensus in multiple key areas and successfully formed a cooperation intention. Dr. Ali emphasized that as an internationally leading enterprise in environmental protection new materials, Maenam Hi-Tech's independently developed products—including green ecological composite new materials—boast world-class performance indicators, with wide applications in desert ecological restoration, photovoltaic sand control, and major infrastructure projects. Its self-developed water-retaining agent, achieved through reverse technology breakthroughs, can significantly improve sandy soil structure, providing long-term technical support for desertification control.
Reza Babaei, Executive General Manager of Sina Tejarat Gem Company, stated that Iran's demand for new water-retaining and waterproof materials is continuously rising, driven by factors such as infrastructure advancement and climatic characteristics. Iran is a core consumer of waterproof materials like rolled asphalt in the Middle East, ranking second in market value in the region alongside Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, Iran's high-temperature and arid climate imposes stringent requirements on the waterproof and water-retaining performance of materials. Major projects such as the Tehran Metro expansion and the Strait of Hormuz Bridge are driving strong demand for new materials. Additionally, in addition to new constructions, the number of maintenance and renovation projects for existing buildings is increasing. These projects require high-performance new waterproof and water-retaining materials to enhance building durability, further expanding market demand.
